Belynda Azhaar is a professional Performance Artist with a background in TV, film, musical theatre, and modelling, who has recently devoted her time to Oriental dance, commonly known as bellydance.
To raise awareness and appreciation for Middle Eastern music and dance, Belynda Azhaar organises monthly haflas (social dance parties) in Seoul, Korea. She also recently organised a benefit night for Gaza, Palestine.
In the past 12 months Belynda Azhaar has been invited to Japan, China, and Taiwan to teach workshops, master classes, perform and judge competitions.
A lifelong student, Belynda Azhaar travels regularly to Egypt to learn about Arab culture, language, music and dance.
